crain stock battary storage

Well after a nun-cuck battery shorted out in my battary box in on my kwa m4 i started looking into wiring the gun to the rear and putting the battery in a crain stock.

Was wondering from those who have done this what stock do you use and how well does it work?

Also anyone experament with wireing a gun to the front and back before?

you have no experience with taking apart your gun do you?

if you dont, then dont even think of trying to rewire the gun to the rear, instead, just use an 8.4v mini battery. KWA M4 works just fine with it.

If you try to open it up to rewire the gun...

well, I might as well just call the gun broken right now. get a gun doc to do it for you, or show you how to do it

on the contrary. ive actually rebuilt a CA G36C, an TM AUG and ive rewired my CA m15 sportline to the rear. only in that situation i used a battery bag not a crain stock.

besides ive got rails on the front of my gun. the battery i was using before it exploded was in a peq box on the side. im trying to get some of the heft off the front of the gun. metal rails and body make for a fairly heavy gun.

are you really desperate enough to risk your gun to just get that extra 1.2volt of power?

seriously, just use a lipo if you want more battery power, wiring it to the rear is NOT for you to do.

wasn't gonna use the front and rear at the same time mate, kinda have the flexibility to use either was the general idea there. was gonna use the standard small plug in the front with a little adapter i was gonna make to bypass that unless i needed to use a team mates battery and use deans connectors for the rear battery id use most of the time. just not entirely sure if that would work in reality cuz ive never seen that part done before.

thanks for your concern but i have rewired guns before.

back to the original question.

You won't find much help with google/ASC search unless you fix the spelling: it's "crane"

what's the mah rating? it really shouldnt die in 1 hours unless it was just full out constant shooting.

I used an 8.4v 1100mah for an 12 hour milsim! cmon!

not a fan of full stocks. ive always been more of a suicide man then a true rifleman, and full stocks are just a bit cumbersome for me.

8.4v is nice but 9.6v is just so much better. with the 9.6 1400mah nunchuck i had it was soooo smooth and sexy. to bad the ends didn't have any kinda of insulation cuz they shorted out on the bracket that held the door onto the battery box i was using. :banghead:

there are really two reasons for the wiring to rear. one with the full metal rails ive got on the front its a bit front heavy. so a battery in the rear and not the front will help a bit with that.

Secondly its something to do. Im not worried the gun will break. this isn't exactly a hardcore mod. worse case i need new wires and a moter perhaps but id have to really mess up.

soo anyone use one they like? i can read on google all day but in the end im reading a review i cant ask questions about.
