JP-15 countersniper build

I've been working on this build for a few months already... It started as a TM M4A1 but it now contains only one TM part(stock screw). I plan to have JP rifles or Grendel trademarks engraved in the future. I was also forced to cut the fake gas tube because I didn't tighten the barrel nut enough. This project has run me around $800 at the moment.

Instead of a standard gearbox, I've opted to use a Madbull 470 CO2 mechbox. Although this mechbox only comes in semi, I'm not too worried since this gun is meant to be a countersniper. It gives me about 50-60 good shots at 350fps per CO2 cartridge. It also has a blowback mechanism which needs to be cocked via charging handle before firing (adds realism). If you plan to get one of these, be prepared to grind/file/sand. Special thanks to Jugglez for helping me track one down.

Parts:

-590mm Madbull tightbore (I would have used the 650mm but bore-up kits aren't available)
-D-boys metal body
-G&P hopup
-Madbull JP rifles 12 inch front set(I used the 24 inch barrel)
-KA G16 grip
-KA M16 full stock
-KA M16 VN mag
-Madbull shark bucking
-Madbull 470 CO2 mechbox
-Madbull charging handle spring

To come:

-Scope
-Bipod
-Silencer

Excuse my shitty photography...

Curious though, How snug is that gearbox in that body? I own the same brand of body and i'm looking to make a Counter sniper much like your own (Maybe not as long, though, it is tempting~!)

The mechbox actually fits really well in this specific body(no grinding whatsoever). I have 2 other Dboys bodies and they probably need some major rework to fit the mechbox.

Nice. I'm in the midst of a similar build using the OD JP kit, a G&P body, and an OD G&P "marine sniper" stock rounded out with a Magpul grip. Will a 650m inner barrel fit with the longest outer barrel? I haven't ordered my inner yet....probably doing to go with a DB 6.01 or PDI. Mine's using a conventional mechbox setup, and I plan to run one of the single-shot-timed mosfets pushing around 470 fps on Lipo....

I'm trying to get one of those madbull JP rifles bodies. Too bad nobody imports them...

fuck, 2 madbull co2 mechboxes in less than a week. This means I need one. I'm THAT influential.

How many shots can you get with 1 cartridge?

Only available in semi. You can probably modify it to do full-auto but I wouldn't recommend it...

This mechbox has been discontinued by madbull for quite some time and they no longer offer support for it. Jugglez should be able to get you one. Just be prepared for the work involved getting it to work. The only reason I used this mechbox is because I hate electrics...

from what i was told their is an auto vs too. also you should add a silencer to that to make it even more bigger lol. also form your specs you should go to a guarder hop up bucking it will gain you a bit more fps and if not try going to a ka enhanced hop up with the little o rings on it it should improve your fps by anouther 10 to 15 fps. then you would be shooting a countersniper load up some .25's or even .3's in their and you would have pure acuracy bliss.

Nope, this mechbox is one of madbull's "abandoned projects". They were gonna develop an external air system and an electronic trigger but they dropped the project. I cannot use anything but a madbull shark hopup. These mechboxes are are known to double feed with conventional hopup rubbers. I am using 0.23g bbs...
