info wanted
So I'll get this right out in the open, I am a minor but, I'm not a stupid minor. I'm very interested in airsoft and almost hurt that the law isn't on my side, or anyone's side in the sport as far as the Canadian government goes, but me especially, and others in my position.
Bassically I'm wanting to know what the worst that could happen to me would be, if I were caught by an RCMP officer, playing a game of airsoft with some friends or just target practice and things like that. I do have some of those crappy Canadian Tire/ Wal-Mart guns and my friends and I will occasionally go into a nearby forest or small ravine where there aren't many people and shoot eachother up a little. But what bugs me about this is that I know I have more skill with guns but with these crappy ones at least 50% of how the game goes is whether or not your bb hits a twig and plunders to the ground in shame. Now, if the laws are not too severe I would deffinetly like to purchase a good gun, (I was looking at the ICS MP5 SD5) and for the most part I have been looking at buyairsoft.ca but from reading some of the discussions on this site, I have decided that buying from them is most likely not the best idea, so I am wondering what my alternatives are. postive responses would be much appreciated |

worst that could happen. you get shot and killed. if you go into public with something that looks like a real gun, it WILL be treated as a real gun. no matter how "responsible" you are with said gun. if a cop see you pointing a gun at another person, you could be shot dead. thats the worst, or you could be charged with a firearms offence.

welcome yards. We dont really recommend just playing a "back yard game," and ASC doesnt really condone it. I know you just want to jump on in, but you might as well wait until your 18 and get verified. This way you can purchase better guns at fair prices. In the time between, read up as much you can. You will get flamed less and be accepted here on ASC a little more smoothly. Good luck man.

I wouldn't exactly call it "running around it the woods" we are careful, like if we see people we stop, and but the gear and guns down. But thank you all the same.

Newsflash Minor shot by RCMP officer. Parents of Minor Grieve their son's loss. Officer states that in the split second he had to maka a decision the un-named youth turned and pointed what appeared to be a shotgun at the officer who in turn was forced to discharge his firearm in self defence.
Upon investigation it was found to be a pellet firing plastic gun. the youth died for $59.95 plus tax. Seriously think of what trauma you could put the officer who shot you under. he ended a life tonight (yours) and has to live with that his whole life. don't do it... you said you are a responsible youth... Prove it... be patient Airsoft is not going anywhere... |

At least forget about airsoft until 16, then meet with your locals. 14 will not float, whatever group is local to you, you are old enough to be the kid of some players.

thats like a bunch of thugs say "yo lets rob this store but if anyone comes by we will just put the stuff down and act like we have no idea how it got in the back of my car" fact remains your not gonig to be able to see everyone, and it only takes one lady walking her dog to see you and call 911 for the cops to be on you like white on rice
