king arms metal body problem

king arms metal body problem

well i finaly got one, and i was swaping all my jg 416 mechbox that has upgraded internals to it, and now the upper wont mate or better term fully close back so the front pin can close to the lower reciver i had this problem with my d boys metal body so now im wondering what do i do do i ditch the mech. I know theirs outhers out their with theys bodys id like a little imput form you guy's on what you have in your's im also lookign to switch to a rear wired configuration!

hm... i put a g&p metal body on my jg 416. pretty tight fit btw
dunno how exactly youre putting it on so i dunno if telling you it slides on instead of hinging from the front pin will help any

try figuring out on your own if theres a part somewhere in the way or if some part is rubbing on the inside of the body and then sand, file, or dremel that spot on the inside of the body

i know from hearing other peoples experiences here with d-boys metal bodies. theyre always sanding the insides. thats why i went with g&p

umm this is a king arms metal body lol and no i figured it out thanks a lot liewin life saver now all i have to do is rear wire it lol.

SOLVED The back needs to be sanded slightly to fit.

thats cool you figured it out. i was just comparing the two as they were being put on the same gun and figured there probly were some similarites
