Quick Gearbox Question
How similar is a G36 gearbox and an AK series one? Just out of curiosity.

They're both V3, so the internals will be nearly identical to each other. Internals that are gun model specific is the nozzle, cylinder, selector plate, and trigger.

External differences:
- selector plate - selector switch gears and triangular lever bit (ak has them on the mechbox, g36 has small gears that mesh with bigger ones on the grip/body) If you're using one to replace the other...you'll need to strip those parts off and reuse them. |
