Metal body mods- help?

I need to cut off some parts of my metal body to fit the wires through for a G&P crane stock. Not just the part that holds the buffer tube but the rear end of the lower receiver because magpul didn't leave a space there at the back to allow a wire to go through.

As you can see at the above picture, there is a space for wiring at the bottom of the tube for wiring but for my metal body, it's just round. There is no indent for wires. What tools do i need to do this modification? Thanks.

a drill, drill press would be better and a dremel or an air grinder

I just used a dremel, works well if you have a steady hand.....I had a similiar problem. If you look up "hk416 stock" posted by beach in this section it might help you out. Crunchmeister posted a helpfull link on their about this....

Cheers

Well, I'm glad that the reply I posted was so helpful that it's being referenced.

This is the thread in question that I referred BeAcH to...
