VSR-10 Custom Railwork! :D

I decided to throw on a few rails on the sides of the gun. Not only to add a little weight, but to give it more customization options, and to give it a more "On-Duty" look and feel. I stole 2/4 RIS rails off an old WallyWorld M4.
Turns out that it WOULD come in handy one day.

WARNING: Recreating this IS not reversable. It is a permanent modification, and if not done correctly can permanently damage your gun.

Tell me if you like it, and if you have any ideas on what to add to it to give it a more "Afghanistan Tour" look, all ideas are gladly taken into consideration.

Nice. I wanted to do that to one of my rifle one day.
I was scared of cracking the body or screwing it miss aligned.
Gluing would not be solid enough IMO.

Yeah, I was kind of scared when I did it. But, you just gotta' be real gentle, don't push too hard with the screw gun, just let it work on its' own and everything was okay. I measured like 10 times per rail though, so there was almost 0% chance I could mess up.

Pre drill the holes first on the stock. If you drill the holes out a bit it wont put as much stress on the surrounding area.

I know, I did that. I drilled the holes, then screwed on the rails.
