Gun Paint
Hey folks,
I'm looking to paint a Kraken I have coming in, what would you folks out there suggest for a good tough paint job? The body is plastic so preferably I'd like something that would bond with that but if there's something better and I have to prep the body, that's no worries too. Thanks, Rick

Go and get the Krylon Camo spray paint from Crappy Tire. It's about $6 a can and it works wonders.

Rick, I would say skip the paint completely and pick up a metal body on the classifieds. It will make your gun more durable and add some value to it should you sell it in the future.
PS: I think the check will clear today, i'll send your Glock out as soon as possible. |

Thanks for the info guys and to clarify I will be getting a metal body eventually, the paint is for the interim.

I just ordered some Duracoat for my guns. fabsports.ca sells it.
Not the cheapest, but for under $50 you can put one color on several guns if you include the cost of a disposable sprayer and the degreaser. I've got a couple really plasticy guns that need some paint, so I'll let you know how it works out. |
