Can't open the slide!!!
Ok folks!
Here's my problem. I have this TM p226r whit a Guarder full metal conversion kit installed. Now I can't open my slide anymore to access the hop up unit. The little lever that you can see in the pic where the red arrow is is stuck. I noticed a loose plastic pin inside against a little spring just before... Now. Can I reach this part by another way? What's the name of it? I need to change the little plastic pin inside I guess... What part do I need to change. Because I have a feeling that if I force the lever I will probably break it. Thanks.

You're trying to remove the slide properly right? Slide it back an inch or so and move the lever?

The lever is stuck what ever I try...
I am positive on the little black plastic part loose ( against a half moon metal part whit two little pins holes...). A spring hold's it against the half moon metal lever part. Shit!

Take it apart, make sure everything is in the correct position, something might have come loose after shipping.

You are pulling the slide all the way back right? That's how it works on the 226R I had not too long ago.

A: Take off the silencer.
B: lock the slide back, then turn the lever down, make sure its pushed in, if its pushed out fro mthe other side, it wont turn down because this is the safety mech on 226's, airsoft versions anyways. If it wont turn down uve jammed or bent something inside and are in big trouble, keep trying. Edit: Ya I can see from your pic you have the lever pulled out from the shadow behind it, push it back in and pull it down normally..

Follow Renegade's instructions.
It's stiff...but not overly so. The lever turns a semi-circle cross-pin inside and it's pushing against a stiff spring mounted on a tightly fitted nine-ball spring guide. (the stub of the spring guide is a tight fit in the chamber/hopup unit). It's also a tight fit going back in...but it goes. Just take it slow and easy. Tys |

The take-down lever that is stuck should be a single piece (it is part of the piece that it moves inside, it is not just attached to it).
The lever itself is probably not broken; whatever that plastic piece is is probably jamming it. Can you fire the pistol? The force may jar the bit of plastic out of the way. Or, a little safer, try tapping the pistol firmly with a rubber mallet to see if you can shake that loose bit free (shouldn't harm a metal pistol if you don't go nuts). Unfortunately, there is no other way to disassemble the pistol except through the take-down lever, but it's normally a very strong bit of metal; so do what you have to to get that bit of plastic out of the way so you can strip your pistol and see what broke! |

Try this, start by racking and locking the slide fully back.
Turn the pistol upside down, grasp the exposed barrel and work it up and down while putting pressure on the switch and rocking it with your thumb as you rock the barrel. |

Ok... I manage to turn by force the take-down lever... Removed the slide...
The little plastic pin between the spring and the semi-circle cross pin is in really bad shape... What part do I need to get to change that shit? The plastic is in the middle slot next to the spring as you can see... it has no more little pins to it... Ok i reinstall the little plastic part and lubed it good... Its working for now. But now the lever is a little loose and I am pretty sure the lever will get stuck again. Please help me to identify the little plastic hook part so I can order the right thing. Thanks.

Use the macro setting on your camera if you have one, cause those are really blurry.

Sorry, mate, not really sure exactly which piece you're referring to. Is it the big piece with the slot cut out of it, or is it something down inside that slot?
Do you have the parts diagram handy by any chance (probably a stupid question, 'cause if you knew what the part was .... But I gotta ask) I don't see a part that's supposed to be down in there .... On the bright side, I like your Hogue grips |

Ok I can't get a better one whit my bad camera...lol
But I think it's pretty clear what part I am talking about now. Its the little black plastic spring action pin that goes in the middle of this slot. Thanks alot guys!
