charging a battery
a nimh 2000mah 9.6 i need to know what amp to charge it at
.8 1.5 or 3 |

.8A or 1.5A would be best. 3A is a little high.

ok something wierd just happen it stop at 465 mah it the battery wrong??
these are brand new |

What charger are you using, what settings etc.
The battery also could have already had a charge from the factory, and probably did. Most have SOME charge already. |

ohh iam useing a duratrax dynx210 on 1.5 after i charged it i emty the batttery the best way i could with my gun

i don't know how to charge it i h8 nimhs i like nicad batterys better so can u help me the charger i have is a dynx210 from duratrax and it has a .8, 1.5, 3., and 5 , i know 3 and 5 is too much so i tryed .8 first but only said 450 mah charge so i tryed to wasted or discharge to battery on my gun and try again this time 1.5 and it says the same thing whats wrong ???

I'll spell it out.
You have a 2000mah battery. When it discharges 450mAh, it will no longer be able to fire your gun. When you charge it fully, you get 450mAh, and your battery is full. mAh DOES NOT translate directly to how large a battery is or how long it will last, there are a lot of other factors like C rating and voltage. If you are using small, AA sized, cells in a nunchuck configuration: They suck. They will not be able to power a gun for very long. |

if your battery is brand new Nimh you need to charge it at 0,1 C maximum or else you will break it
200 mAh max for the first charge. ah I see you didn't have a choice its sad.

yes i know its too bad but i h8 this battery i should have bought a 1700mah sanyo 12v c-shape battery
