G36c to G36k mods

just a few questions guys. would you need to modifie the front grip at all on a G36c to accomidate the upper carrying handle of the K series? i love the K's handle but i dont want to have to deal with a long barrel because i wanna use it for indoors matches.

I went all out on my 36c to 36k conversion. I too really love the look of the carrying handle. I swap back and forth between the C foregrip and the K length.

Went from this broken TM.

To this.

Even added the Army Code K body.

but can i keep the front grip from the C and still use the K carrying handle? your very nice G36k has a longer front grip. ( i really like it btw, its very nice)

You'll have no problem. The top part of the G36 attaches to the body, and all G36's use the same body.

There are different versions of that body, that one happened to be the G36K

STAR was the only airsoft manufacturer that made a functional dual optics sight for the G36. It's still available (only through WGC it appears), too bad thing as it was a piece of donkey dung. See my review here:

Unless they've fixed the RDS brightness and the battery cover, I wouldn't waste my time for the price.

If you can find and afford one, you could modify the TM/CA/Star/whoevers body to accept a real Hensoldt dual optic sight. They're only about $700-$1000 US, if you can find one.

The body was made by Army Code. It came marked like that. Army Code bodies are are no longer available, so if you can find one, snag it.
