Dboys/BOYI/KLS orange tip removal?
Yeah, how the hell do you remove this? It's more confuzzling than the PTW's FH. Will I need to melt the bugger off, or something?
Thanks EDIT: FIXED. SOLUTION: Hold a lighter under the tip for about 6 seconds... stick an allen key through the holes near the top, and twist. Last edited by Lakonian; December 15th, 2008 at 10:26.. |

I have a Kalash AKS-74 and I had to literally boil off the flash hider 'cause they epoxied it right on...whatever they used it was strong enough so you'd end up breaking the gun before the glue gave in.

I tried it out, worked really well. Stunk like shite, though. |

Just out of curiosity, which AEG were you working on? And did the lighter trick burn / boil the paint as well?
