You know, I'm liking this idea if only for battery space and those clubfoots been catching my eye lately as well. My question becomes who does this on the real steel in the real world? Would definitely balance out the 249 Para I have with the PEQ on the front RAS.

C9A2 has a C8 stock on it. But it folds to the side as well.

Sweet! I'm liking this idea more and more, but I think I'd go with the clubfoot instead of the C7A2/C8 stock, just cause battery space ((plus they look cooler)). I always thought we had the wire stock like this one depicted here...

Keep in mind that this modification doesn't take into account how to make the buffer tube not rotate in either direction (there's no notch that prevents it from rotating like the tube a M4/m16 body has which the buffer tube slips on). I had mine done like this maybe a year ago, and although pretty solid, the stock will eventually rotate.

it not a problem, just put in a screw the other way and do a notch in the buffertube. this screw will hold the buffert tube in place. i will do this way

I think I'm sold on doing a clubfoot on my 249 now, which sucks because I thought I was done and ready for paint!
