G&G M16A3 Receiver Pin removal
You know my parents boguht off my friends m16 blah blah blah lol
but i was wanting to do some maintenance clear out the barrel look for signs of wear or w-e but when i went to remove the receiver pin the the front it wont budge! there seems to be a screw holding it in palce wuth no way to actully unscrew it heres some pictures of what im talking about P.S. they mgiht not be top quality but you can see what im talknig about IMG_2062.JPG IMG_2068.JPG IMG_2067.JPG |

like the pin wont move or after you pull it out it wont move?

The pins aren't screwed in, they fit by pressure. You will need to get something smaller than the diameter of the pin and something heavy to hammer it out with. I just use the end of an allen wrench and anything top-heavy to hit it.

You don't need to remove the front pin to remove the front portion if this is the G&G GR16 with the metal upper. Take the pin out as far as it goes (to where the spring lock triggers and keeps it in place so you don't lose it) after that just slide the upper receiver and front end forward and the entire segment should come right off.

I'm pretty sure that's a spring. You need a reaalllllyyyy tiny screw driver to push back the spring and pin that locks the receiver pin in place. Then slowly and carefully hammer it out. Be careful not to break the tabs as it is a plastic body.

thanks for all your help ill try with a hammer(mallet) and an allen wrench or something but i dont have time right now im working in like 15 minutes ill do it when i come back
