Divide the battery capacity by the current of the charger to get the hours needed for charge. i.e. 1500mah batt and 500ma charger = 3 hour charge.

Question # 2:
I also have a battery pack left over from my Tokyo Marui Mp5a5 (Not sure, but I think it is 'mini'). Would this be useable inside the Aftermath Mp5 as well? And, Would charging this battery with same charger as above be safe? It's a yellow pack with 7 'sanyo Cadnica batteries' inside.
You can try it yourself, ya know? If it mini it should fit, but why dont you try it yourself?

So using your equation (battery is 1200mah), I will charge it for 4-5 hours.
Keep in mind that a NiMah will hold about 80% of what it put into it. So for purposes of this calculation, multiply the end result by 1.2 -end result, 6 hours.

Get a smart charger then you won,t have to worry about how long it takes to charge ,cause it will shut off when its charged!
