500FPS VSR spring?
Hey guys,
Just bought a spring from this custom maker and it was advertised for 525FPS but shot 580FPS after it settled, so I'll have to buy a new spring. I'm looking for an 11mm diametre spring(Prefreably Laylax) for VSR-10, but I'm not sure which one to get for an output of about 500FPS. Extensive search gave me results that weren't very consistent and thought I could hear some first hand experiences here. Thanks. |

you can just cut the spring down a wee bit a time. That way you can get it right where you want.

11mm?!?! I've never even heard of that (except for AEG springs, they are 11mm ID), only 7mm and 9mm.
Get a Laylax PSS10 150SP spring (9mm ID), the first year I had it in my M24, with my bearing guide and tightbore, was getting 515fps out of it, and it's since settled down (and I'm talking MANY thousands of shots) I'm sitting around 490fps. |

Trust me, it rocks, easy to cock too. I've been using it full time in my Two-Four for the past 3 years....................
