Biodegradable BB's
Are biodegradeable bb's generally good quality? I have an offer from a guy I know for $7.50 for 1000 .20 bb's. Am I wasting my money?

you're wasting money. they tend to break on impact and turn to dust causing your opponent to breath in the dust. it can also get into their eyes especially if they are wearing the mesh style masks.

It's been showed they don't biodegrade that fast anyway, and as mentioned above can be dangerous. Most people here are using BB Bastards with good results. They're usually around $10 for 2000.
If you're concerned about polluting, switch to locaps/realcaps and learn trigger control.

Most aren't polished so they tend to chew through your hopup rubber faster. The only "good" bio bbs are the bioval ones, but they are quite expensive (about 50$ for /3700) they biodegrade in a couple of months and are highly polished. Also they do not dissintegrate on impact. In fact I've shot a metal bell at 20ft with these and they've left dents but remained intact. Every other bb including bbbastards split in half or fragmented off.

And are hard to find as well as degrade faster once exposed to oxygen. So you open the container up to try a few, then wait a few weeks to use them, might find they are causing issues within your gun. I've heard of this, I've never wasted my time trying bio BBs anyways, normal ones degrade as it is, just over a few or more years. So there is no chance that archeogists in 1000 years are going to find fossilized BBs and think they are some sort of ancient eggs.

Sure but I plan to get verified at an event and Im not going to one untill I have gear. Do i really need to be verified to buy BB's?

I don't see why person must be age verified for bb, all u know they could use it for science project. BB has well statement of weight and size to make it good balls for Physics project like calculate how far ball go when drop on ramp.

You don't need to be AV'd to buy BBs, just like you don't need to be AV'd to use Google.

I'll make sure to not drop any BBs ever, just so this won't occur.
