Why do some high end AEGs have low FPS
hey guys i have a question....why are the high end aegs like classic army etc why do the guns have low fps like 330?

Because Cheap chinese manufactures realized that noob players are drawn to the high fps, what they don't realize is that it means a less reliable gearbox. Either way its a good marketing technique that new players fall for every day

Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

I'd say, because lower fps means lighter spring means higher rate of fire, and maybe cus alot of indoor fields have 350 fps limit but thats just a guess

Because FPS means nothing and is easily changed.
Alot of places have 350 FPS limits... And new players think higher Fps = better.. which isn't the case at all. |

Please only 1 post in a row!!
As for your question I use a Tokyo Marui VSR-10 100% upgraded with PDI parts (The only stock thing on it is the stock.) and I use a KSC USP OD upgraded with some Airsoft Surgeon and Shooter's Design parts |

I'm familiar with their parts and metal bodies. Their parts and metal bodies are pretty good.
I've never handled an KA AEG though. |

These guns are made for the Asian market - many places which have FPS limits.
In Japan there is a rule (or mutual agreement) on FPS limits. Therefore TM abides by this and so do many of the clones from other manufacturers in Japan and Taiwan because of the potential dangers of high FPS. It's generally the Chinese ones like Jing Gong that have 400FPS stock AEGs from factory.

Mine's probably shooting at around 360 FPS (haven't chronoed yet so waiting for next season). I'm happy with that, not too high not too low, although I'm planning on bringing making my gun 380 or so.
I use a custom built "USAF Para Rescue" M4 as my primary and a Glock 19 as my secondary. Spring upgrades are relatively easily done so it's not like high FPS is the end all be all. First thing on your mind should be accuracy and reliability.
