Air duster can test

I decided to conduct a test with a Duster air can to see if it was possible to pass threw one side. I receveid my .40g Madbull bbs, chrono it at 505fps@5.00j.

At gun point it did a perfect hole in it with a little punch on the outside. So it is possible

When you find out that the can is not entirely empty.

Yeah, you need to set a rag on fire and drape it over a full can, and THEN shoot it at 500fps with 0.4 bb's.
Ghad.

Well, it depends, are you assuming the energy is constant or momentum is constant?

707 FPS and 4.65 joules actually. I finaly found a reasonable use for my FPS calc I made today to pass time in math.

Best chrono on the Xcortech with .20g is 656fps, 610 fps with .25g and 505 fps with .40.

Is there a point to this thread?

I'm not sure how this is useful, or even relevant. A pellet gun could also go through a duster can. And I once shot a brick with a 7.62x51mm and it totally shattered. Nobody is playing airsoft with any of those, either.

My KJW M700 did 475 fps with 0.36g at 5 degrees C in my garage on green gas. It went up when you used it outside in summertime. Totally stock gun, no upgrades at all.
