How many coils to cut ?
Heya all,
I have this SP110 spring that gives me around 370 fps. I want to cut it to get around 330-340 fps. How many coils should I cut ideally ? I don't want to cut too much, can't spend time testing either. thank you!

If it's a non-linear spring, try flipping it around so the tighter coils face forward. I've seen up to a 30fps drop from doing that before.

ok thank you!
I might still cut just one coil for the sake of it. I'd rather be under the limit than above.

Do me a favour, try it as is, chrony it, let me know what fps you get. I know you don't have time for testing, but I'd like to log the info somewhere in my brain.
And I'd still say, buy a Modify 90 spring from Jugglez, it'll sit you 330-340fps (with a bearing guide guide installed). |

I got surprised by a complete depletion of my stock of grease
So, with a slight lack of grease on the piston head, I got 348 first shot afterwards, always staying between 300 and 306, very consistent (several measures with exactly the same fps, the chrony is a madbull, hop-up is on) it's a CA stock mechbox ver 3
