KJW 1911 upgrades

I now have a kjw 1911 version 2 to replace me old we 1911. The reason I got the version 2 is because that is suppossed to use tm mags and other tm parts. Someone told me that the kjw was a mix of wa and tm parts. I just want to get your opinions, I plan on getting a tm 1911 magazine, http://www.poweredgeusa.com/product....ID=123&ID=4172, http://www.poweredgeusa.com/product....ID=123&ID=3839, and http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/images...barrel_jpg.jpg. Im also getting a few internal upgrades that I know will fit (150% recoil and hammer springs, high flow valve, loading nozzle, etc) I might have to buy another trigger too if my we one doesnt fit ( I dont think it will) so this PDI trigger http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/images...gger_s_jpg.jpg

The WE is a mix of TM and WA parts. KJW is simply a TM clone.

Not quite sure why you picked up a KJW if your intent was to buy an aftermarket slide and frame set. If that was your goal from the start, you should've bought a TM. I'm pretty sure KJW casts their rear sight directly into the slide.

Couldnt I just buy another rear sight though? And if tm is the way to go for upgrades I can always wait until I get more money. And I didnt just want to get an mbk I also wanted to have the springfield trademarks.

I don't think I've seen any aftermarket TM1911 rear sight sold on its own. You might want to find a slide/frame set that includes one.

Oh, I dont think hi capa sights will fit either, oh well Ill have to use your idea. But why do you think that tms are better to upgrade then kjws even if kjws are direct tm clones?
