It's ok, but you'll have a bigger choice by getting age verified

How old are you?

Airsoft is for people who are 18 years or older...no exceptions.
You should read the FAQ section.

I understand that.
I just want an AEG for practice. And I am going to be very responsible with it and my *Parents* will always be around when I am using it. |

Doesn't change the rules...you have to be age verified to purchase and AEG on ASC.
How old are you for the second time?

Me I am 14 Years old.
But it will be my Dad's AEG technically and I will only use it around my Parents. I understand that, airsoft is at a bad place with the law. and you don't want some 14 year old kid to be on CNN news because he was being stupid and was shooting people in public, or in public areas. |

Saying your *Parents* will buy it for you proves you didn't read the FAQ section...please do... for your own good.

If you understand the concept, why do you still want an AEG when you know you can't?

Even some posts and topics in here are not suitable for a 14 year old. I love the fact airsoft has a young and old age range it keeps the sport alive and its too bad kids cant get more involved. But its not a place for minors. I was in SIR the other day and some dad and 2 kids around the age of 13-15 were looking at guns the kid was saying "yeah this is the one i want to get" I felt like intervening but who am i to say anything really. With all the bad press airguns get its good most people are responsible owners. I assure you its not the 18+ crowd that are shooting at city transit or running around the block playing guns with airsoft guns. I know 4 years is a long wait... but get knowledge about the sport and when you are 18 you will have all the right info to make a great purchase. Cheers little dude!!!

Depending on where you live there might be local bylaws preventing you from discharging an airgun outside.

go play paintball if you want to practice, when you turn 18 then you can buy a gun and join the big boys on the field.
