Felix tactical.. are we being ripped off?
My friends and I ordered a bunch of cadpat uniforms from Felix Tactical ( http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=59176 ) more than 6 months ago. At that point we transferred more than $US 4000 to him, and was promised a wait time of a couple of months.
Since we've heard quite a few excuses... he had no fabric, then he got the wrong fabric, we would have our uniforms soon and so on. A month and a half ago he told me he had shipped the fabric to the factory and would be sending picture updates very soon. Needless to say I have heard nothing since, and he is not answering my (polite) emails. Does anybody know what the hell is going on? We are initiating a paypal complaint, but I fear it's too late and he's just gone with all out money.

4000 dollars??? Drop zone BDUs IMO are better than milspec and cost maybe 200 dollars for a pant/shirt. What did order exactly? and from what materials? Tactical Tailors have had extreme difficulty in getting genuine CADPAT material that many of them have given up on making Genuine CADPAT kit.
Yes I would complain much more |

As I recall, they had alot of issues a while back with unsatisfied customers. Kit that reeked of Cigars that multiple washes wouldnt get out of the fabric, they resold Krukspec kit claiming it was theirs and cut the labels off and others and charged a rediculous price for em. I dont have any personal experience with them but i remember ALOT of posts regarding issues with them.
4000$USD is ALOT of money, I can only conclude that you are buying a LARGE quantities like 100+ items. Either that or some serious custom work. Getting Genuine Cadpat in TW is not hard at all. I know of 4 different retailers that have them in stock RIGHT NOW. Arid is a little harder, but its not THAT difficult to get arid fabric. Id be wary of what your paying for. 4k is not chimp change.

Wow, that is a lot of money for Cadpat, you can get Cadpat in country or from Canadian sellers online or even on ebay for as low as $40-$50 a set.
I'm sorry that you had such a bad experience. Continue with your paypal dispute, paypal can easily take the money back out of their account and give it back to you. They will usually side with the buyer in most cases if the seller cannot provide them a tracknig number to prove he has shipped anything.

YES, YOU ARE. REGARDLESS OF THE SPECIFIC SITUATION.
This is the guy who bought vests from Krukspec in the Philippines, marketed it as his own 'custom' 'tailored' vests and pocketed a profit of about 300-400%...AND the product I received wasn't even fitted right! I would suggest steering clear of him at all costs, and if you're already out the cash, fight for it. EDIT: Dark Angel covered the Krukspec scam. I just had to reiterate it as I still feel screwed when I hear his name. |

Asides from the rebranded Kurkspec stuff, I don't think there was any evidence to suggest he even produced anything on his own: all he ever put forward was Photoshopped images of camo patterns.
HardCoil, since you aren't AV'd you probably don't have access to these posts since they're in the classified section, so here's a copy: Quote:
The links are to Canadian Law Enforcement sites (Royal Canadian Mounted Police), and if you feel you're being defrauded by someone in Canada I'm certain they can be of assistance. On another note, if anyone knows TheCat you may want to urge him to unfuck himself most expeditiously and resolve this issue before the matter is turned over to the RCMP.

Glad I never dealt with him. I was almost about to place an order in March. PHEEWWW.
Contact the RCMP, the Local Authorities, Pay Pal, and the Better Business Bureau. Thanks for the warning. I am sorry to hear that you are out a great deal of money. Michael |

Ohh yeah i think he is in the Cf if i remember correctly as well. Not that it really matters, but military law would punish him as an addition to his sentence if convicted. (possible someone that remembers the military law can add some info).
Also hope you get your money back! |

The PRIMARY REASON FOR RELEASE from the Canadian Forces is due to administrative burden in relationship to debt management and how it negatively impacts the CF and makes its members look like they do not pay their debts.
The CF takes this very seriously, if you can prove that there is a debt outstanding, and that he is aware of it. And that you have made attempts to contact him. And there is currently no plan in place to repay the debt, or he has defaulted on said repayment plan. First figure out what unit/formation he belongs to. Second collect all documentation, emails, PMs, PayPal invoices/dispute forms, copies of telephone bills, screen shots of websites and such. Third contact his unit. Ask for the Regimental Sergeant Major, and make an appointment with him. Inform him that you need to discuss the Conduct that is unbecoming the good order of the CF, and that a member owes you a debt for which he is unwilling to honour. Take all of the relevant documentation with you, and bring copies to turn over to his unit. If in 14 days you do not hear back from his RSM, politely leave a message with his RSM and contact the Brigade HQ to which his Unit belongs, and make an appointment with the Brigade RSM. The only way you could possibly have the MP's involved or actually lay a charge under the QR&O's is to prove that he used CF resources for his business. If he used his CF email address, or had you call him at his unit, or such then the CF could actually perform more official sanctions (insert hatless dance here). Trust me this will get the attention of his RSM, and it will be addressed at the Unit level. Ubique Osons Michael |

Thanks for the heads up guys, I'll be contacting paypal tomorrow.
I know we can get cheap cadpat stuff a lot of places, but we really hate the "clown suit" cut the issue and pantenac stuff has. We also bought a bunch of Dropzone's expensive pyjamas ops series uniforms. I have no idea how you can think that is good? Everything is sloppily single-stiched with redicoulusly low SPI and the fabric just abrades away and falls apart with even light use. We seriously feel ripped off by dropzone too.... I don't think a single pair of pants were in one piece after the first game It seems you just can't win with CP uniforms

Yea I am not a fan of Dropzone's quality or price tag either. Ice's isn't to bad, if you have not checked out theirs yet. Alternatively... Our BDU should be finished by the end of season and we just got a big roll of Cadpat TW combat cloth.....
But, regarding Felix Tactic, we did order 1 sample cadpat bdu from them a while back, it did take quite a while to get to us as well. That being said considering it was just 1 bdu it wasn't that big of a deal, you'd think with a large order like you gave him the comms/updates would be a bit better... |
