Polishing a we1911a1
I want to polish my we1911 to a nice shiny silver, was planning on using white spirits to strip the paint, then using 400-600-800 grit sandpaper polish it up, then once thats done use some chrome polish then finally finish it with a clear coat, has anyone done this before? Would i be able to paint some parts of the frame black after all that or would it be better to paint before using the clear coat for a nicer finish? Would love some tips from anyone with experience! Cheers, sorry about the barrage of questions, just wanna get this done right!

Talk to Doc1987 about that. I got a WE 1911 Tactical from him. It started off as that grey/babyshit-green color, but he made it a super sexy stainless finish.
