Wire Connector's name
I am rewiring my STAR M4A1 RIS, but to take off the upper receiver I have to cut the wires in the fore grip, when it's done I want to use the type of connector that slides into each other (on most guns) the connectors look like this http://www.airsoftgi.com/images/echo1lrm4wire.jpg but i do not know the name of them.

You linked Tamayia (sp?) connectors, but ex-royal is right, if your re-wiring, just use deans, wayyy better

yes I will use Deans, but I need the connectors so I will not have to clip the wires every time I take the upper receiver off.

Halo isn't referring to the tamiya connector, he's referring to the connectors on the other side of the tamiya connector. those two that you can slide together when you have a front wired m4.
Sorry, I don't know their name, but I do know what you're referring to.

They have a couple names. Generally called spade connectors, or spade disconnects. They're available from the automotive sections of Canadian Tire.

If you patient you can get some of the do-it your self plugs and make your own. Cut at a bias and cover with heat shrink so the don't short instead of using the plastic shells.

Measure the connector itself. They are sized according to Imperial measurements for width. The most common is 1/4", this is the size you will find everywhere. The next size smaller is 1/8", Canadian Tire will have those as well, but as big of a selection.
I have some gold-plated ones that used to come with automotive speakers from many years past, and they come with the rubber-type sleeve on them (clear though). They are the elongated 1/8", and you can have a couple if you cover my shipping costs. *EDIT* I just checked, and I have 1 left. Doesn't help much. But I do have lots of the 1/4", about 4 of the 1/8" and a few of the more rare 3/16" in female, lots of 1/4" in male and none of th eother sizes in males. All are T&B StaKon, Panduit or no-name automotive grade.

My camera is "unavailable" at the moment. If you let me know the size you need and what gender, I'll see what I have precisely.
But check your local CT as well.

I don't have one of them to Measure, but I can measure the wire, or slot the connector has to fit though.
