Metal MP5 Hop up?

Hello, is there such thing as a Metal hop up chamber for an MP5? I have done a little looking with my good friend google, and I have been able to find metal chambers for what seems every other gun but the MP5. If they do exist, or not really, what hop up chamber would you recommend.

Also, the reason why I am looking for a new hop up chamber is because it seems my G&G PM5-A5 is extremely picky with mags, and I was at xt the other day and I was getting alot of mis-feeds/misfires with certain mags, and other would work fine.

Thanks.

Nope there isn't any.

But why do you want it metal anyway? It's the exact same as plastic. ICS and TMs are the best Hop up units.

But I'd check the hop up rubber first.

Good luck

well, I was going to replace the rubber, chamber and the mag release spring all at once. Would it be just the rubber if some mags (including the high cap that came with it) work fine?

actually, there is a metal hop up unit for the MP5. it come with the CA B&T metal upper receiver. The one with the working ejection port which you can tune the hopup like an M4/16

What kind of feeding issues are you having?

Well, with some mags, it just wouldnt shoot at all. People were saying that it was probably jammed, but you could still feel the air through the barrel. Once I took the mag out and put a different one it, it would sometimes work fine, dependant on the mag. Also, with the non feeding mags, I did try taking them out and putting them back in multiple times to see if it just wasnt seating properly.

That could be a issue with both the hop up unit and mag not being completely compatible. That being said, most of the blame is on the mag for not having a spring strong enough to push the BBs up in to the nozzle area.

Easiest way to solve this would be buying more mags that feed(Same brand/Same type ones that are feeding right now).

Maintain your mag's spring strength by taking out all the BBs that are in the magazine after every game.

Hope that helps

I had the same problem with my MP5 mags. I loaded them and more than half wouldn't feed. I finally took all the bbs out lubed the mag, then loaded and manually unloaded them 3 or 4 times. Now they all work fine.

Same here. Had that problem with MAG MP5 midcaps last year. Now they feed just fine.
