Semi auto burst shotgun

so, ofcourse I don't want to hack up my TM super 90...

but I got a rain check for the 3 shot crossman so as soon as it's back in stock I'm getting one

I really want to make a more outdoor friendly semi auto 3 shot, shotgun

so this means I need to figure out which gearbox fits to be melded into the spring mech and the triple chambers... basically I want to just attach the piston from the mechbox to the triple piston of the crossman. this will also allow me to use AEG springs too

any ideas from the community? or will I have wait till I get the crossman then take some internal measurements?

Not sure how experienced you are with either AEG or or the Shotty but the way I'd do it is use the stock piston and mod the mechbox to accept the triple nipple nozzle.

Also theres no way in hell your fitting in all back together so might aswell make it like a saiga 12 or something larger that you can base off of something else similar to an exsisting airsoft gun.

You're trying to fit AEG parts into a shotgun, or vice versa?

Won't work buddy.

Obviously it's not just going to work. He seems more intent on some serious modding. It's deffinatley possible it's just a matter of space and finding a good balance in the spring power.

it might, but the amount of work would be astronomical.

Maybe you could somehow fit a V7 in a shotgun with a full stock, but getting the 3 barrels to work would be quite a feat. You would need some sort of monster air nozle, and one hell of a spring to run all three barells.

At the end of the day, you would really just have an M14 that looks like a shotgun... and a very deep hole burned in your pocket.

Yea pretty much. I really do think it's possible to mod the M3 nozzle into an AEG though. I don't want to try it myself now but I do think it's possible. Ofcourse it might not travel enough or something.

There a line where modding becomes innefective, and you would really just have to fabricate new parts. This project would cross that line many, many times.

You would need acess to a machine shop to really even have a shot at trying this

I think you guys are overcomplicating what i wish to accomplish, but it's fine I see where you guys are coming from on the matter.

guess I'm on my own for this... no problem

Overcomplicating? I gave the most basic way it's even feasible. If you figure it out props to you.

I'm not discounting the saiga 12 idea either.... once I clear the hurdle of getting an AEG mechbox to fire all 3 barrels... I figure out what it fits in

I was thinking either a M14 or Mp5 mechbox... but it'll prolly have to handle a 120 spring.

I'd personally go with a v3, Just because they'll handle any spring you can throw at them.

The reason i said an M14/V7 is because they are essentially horizontal. that way you don't have to deal with fitting it in the pistol grip.
