The WE Scar looks amazing, but the reports on GasGuns of the stocks cracking makes me nervous. Will you do a review/reliability report any time soon?

heh. at least it isnt the gen2
thats really like a boot. stock is ok for now. Ive read about those issues as well. Ill game it this weekend. co2 mag leaks like a mother out of the box. the rest of the gun is well lubed except for the mag. all the o rings were bone dry. recoil on this is amazing. its been a while since Ive plinked with .22cal rifles, but recoil feels very similar to a ruger 10/22...if memory serves me correctly. |

Isn't the stock the only plastic parts that move? So it would be normal that it can break with sometimes I guess.

The stock cracking on a Scar, I think thats a universal problem with any scar. It's so delicate especially since its just a thin polymer. Plus the way it attatches, it so easy to break it you hit the stock hard from one direction or the other. But agreed, a Gen 3 is less likely to crack than a gen 2.

[In this particular case] the cracking is not because the stock is a moving/adjustable part, but rather due to the base of the spring guide and hard recoil. Maybe a heavier recoil spring would fix the problem.
