Wanting to upgrade my gun(for indoor)
I want to upgrade my M14 SOCOM but in another way I want to downgrade it too. I bought it second hand on ASC. It currently has an upgraded spring in it. The owner and it has been chrono'd says it shoots at 400-410fps.
I would like to swap out the spring to a lighter one so it drops the fps for indoor (so I don't have to replace velocity reducers) but at the same time I want to put in a tightbore barrel so I get better accuracy (does it affect fps then?) What else would I need to put into my gun for upgrades but still keeping it an indoor game? I may play outdoor at a later time so I would like to keep my options open. Is this an oxymoron that I'm asking? Any comments and concerns will be appreciated. Oh the fps limit for indoor is 320 MAX

Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

put an s100 spring in there, and if you want pinpoint accuracy, get a tanio Koba twist barrel for it, but it only works under 328 FPS with .2s

Ok thank you, Im a noob at this part of airsoft, so I will accept laughing at me. A m90 spring should work then for my fps limit

yes for the 320 fps limit you'll be fine with a 90, 100 would be too risky

That S100 pushes 360 on my set-up. He means an M100. Try a prometheus MS90SP. If they exist. Buy 2-3 springs to check for FPS. There is no definitive fps you'll get with a spring. If you just want it for indoors the FPS won't matter, just buy an M90 to be safe in that situation.

If you're using it for CQB the tightbore would be a useless upgrade. You don't need more accuracy than it already has in CQB. Do you have another gun or have you thought about another gun for CQB? It would be terrible to waste a nice outdoor gun for indoor purposes
