1 pin or 2 pin headset?
Whats the difference? Is there a quality issue with the two?
I know some radios take two pins while some take only one pins. Last edited by sushicake; August 10th, 2009 at 23:05.. |

One is for transmission, the other for audio, two pins are generally clearer than single pins.

Thing that sucks about 2 pin is that you can't move the wire around, it would have to bend in your pouch, 1 pin can just spin 180.

I think he means that instead of only pointing down it can point up and accommodate various pouches. But good to know about the 1 pin two pin thing. To bad I got 2 Motorola Talkabouts and 2 Cobras...
Do the 1 pin headsets work in Cobras? |

Depends on the Cobras. You can buy converters too online on eBay.
