Guarder replacement replica lenses for T-800: I really don't know.
Heya all
I just shot my new lenses that I installed on Bolle T800 goggles, in replacement of the original one. I shot them with a GBB ( 0.3g @ 260 FPS ) at one inch from the lens. It left a slight 1mm wide circular depression, added with a star-shaped crack difficult to see but there, roughly 3mm wide. I'll take pics soon. Should I play with those?

Did you also find there's a bigger gap along the bottom between the lens and frame (more than with the genuine lens)?

It's like saying "my ceramic plates are cracked, should I go into battle with them?" "my brakes are almost worn out, should I race anyway?" "the nuts are loose on my front tire, should I ride my bike anyway?" It amazes me that some of you guys shoot up your glasses or googles and then play with them. Once anything like that, glasses, helmets, armour etc is damaged in any way, it should be replaced.

are you suggesting I'm stupid ?
the dent is really tiny. I have anoter spare lens that hasn't been shot. I'm refering to the brand rather than this particular lens. If you don't have anything constructive to say please refrain from posting how amazed you are, even if it feels really great.

Now that you have explained that you have another spare set, then yes, I would say you are good to go using the lens the haven't shot. Quote:
You don't think warning people about using damaged safety equipment is constructive?
