VFC just released a video to show their upcoming product, another GBB SCAR!

YouTube - scargbb 0001

BTW: looks like it uses a WA based system....

Big +1. And for a GBBR SR25. I would literally pay any amount of money for a GBB SR25.

I like VFCs' stuff but I'm not too fond of the WA rifle designs so I hope that part is wrong. The external build quality of the WE is on par with the VFC AEG SCAR and some parts are even interchangeable so I don't see the VFC being any better than the WE unless they do something totally different (new) inside.

Donster:
The reasons are simple. Realistic trigger response so the gun fires when you pull the trigger(not 1/8th of a second after), no wining motor sounds coming from your gun, no cooked/dying batteries, no fucking around with mechboxes, gears, springs, motors, different cylinders for different barrel lengths for different fps, just adjust your valve for the FPS you want. And last but not least if a game is gas only (no AEGs') there won't be any hollywood assholes using their m4s' like a SAW and spraying 100 rnd bursts at a time making for a really boring scrim. Oh and the minor recoil is cool too, so your gun feels like- well a gun-not your moms sewing machine. If you've never fired real steel than an AEG feels fine, but for those of us who have AEGs' will always feel like toys.

they should have included a better firing test i suspect there may still be some cool down issues but it looks nice.

not even "minor" recoil ironsight, most people say that the WETTI systems gives 75-80% of real steel recoil, that puts even the TM DE hardkick to shame

WE does kick harder than the WA-based gun that I have....

The VFC so far are not supposed to be WA based though, I think its similar, but at the moment the VFC rep says its not compatible to WA....it is however like WA in that it does not have a brass tube inside the bolt....I think most who picks WA-style GBBR over WE is for the more realistic construction, but I think thats down to preference....

Realism-wise the VFC looks to be better than the WE, and they seem to have more attention to detail (the two black pins near the trigger, SCAR flashhider, etc) when it comes to components on the rifle (where are the trades? Propotype I guess?).

Guess someone will have to do a head-on comparison review once this guy is out... until then, the WE SCAR is still king. lol
