Ehobbyasia and shipping

The group I play with is doing a group order from ehobbyasia in and I was just wondering about the duty that might possibly come along with it. Our order is around $750.

So will there be duty? And what would a general estamate be?

Thanks in advance

Could be none, could be a lot (price of inspection fee + taxes).

There's no way to tell, your package may be inspected or it may not be.

So should we be too worried about duty then because 15 dollars isn't that much for 500 worth

if possible get them to ship via EMS, or FEDEX. both really awesome company. UPS isn't the worst. try DHL.

USPS?
From Hong Kong?
I don't think so.

However they do use either Hong Kong Post Or EMS, if you pay for standard or express shipping.

ehobby ships by Hong Kong Post Service or EMS if you upgrade the service. Both has tracking numbers if i recall. Both are the best ways to avoid custom taxes.

Avoid UPS At all cost. AirsoftGI always use that stupid service. My first time was a 21$ USD value package, ups had to charge me 20$ CAD taxe because item package was over 20$ CAD converted value ... fuck ups. They steal your money.

I would think that calling your local post office and explaining the situation to them then asking if they can give you a quote or an general idea would be good.

Dont know if it works but thats how I would deal with it.
