Smile help with sig 552 top rail

Heey, I was wondering how to attach a top rail onto the sig 552.
Once I've bought one how does it fit on?
Do i have to screw it on to the gun?
Thanks

Just a quick suggestion, if your body is plastic, don't do it.

The rail mounts between the Swiss Arms symbol right before the foregrip and the rear sight on the rifle (there’s a dimple on the front side of the site) and it has a set screw that you tighten it into place. This set up, if over-tightened and after time will stress and will crack your body.

Now I really hate to be this guy, but, get age verified and search the AV Classifieds, metal bodies are rare and about $300.

Now is it worth a $300 upgrade on a $250 rifle? Well, that’s up to you...

I have a rail on my TM 552, I have had for years and I haven't had a problem with cracking.
Don't be an idiot by cranking it too hard when you're putting it on and you should be alright.

Once you get the rail you'll see how it goes on...there's really only one way.

Yes, do not over-tighten it like I did!

Just snug that screw in, and it should be no problem...
