Motor not turning
I removed the motor from my GB AK47 because nothing was happening when I pull the trigger. I put 9 VDC on the motor terminals and the shaft just barely budges and does not make a complete turn. I am using a 9 VDC transformer plugged in the wall as I don't have the battery charged. It is rated for 1.5 amps and I think there is not enough power. How many amps will move this motor? The motor is only about 1 year old, can it be worn out already? The brush looks looks a little dirty and I will try cleaning that next. I just wonder whether the motor is supposed to turn easily when I put on 9 V or if the motor can be faulty.
Thanks ! |

Even name brand motors (like systema) are often crap from factory
Chinese motors can't be much better Anyway 9v at 1.5A should be plenty enough power to atleast move it Try it again with your battery, if it still doesn't work, just buy a new motor I suggest a TM EG1000 or EG700 |
