Solved - Please delete/move
Just bought this last Saturday; Was target shooting from inside my house into my woods, took a total of two shots (I only had two BBs in the magazine, which feeds extremely well right down to the last BB) both fired and then fired once more just to make sure there was nothing left and not a sound! Took it downstairs, changed batteries, tried three different new fuses and nothing Blahh.
Any suggestions ? SOLVED, PLEASE DELETE/MOVE Last edited by Eul0gy; January 30th, 2010 at 17:55.. Reason: Solved |

I am memel, hear me roar!

I'm not a gun doc, but aren't CAs notorious for having the wires disconnect from the motor?

I think you are right, I am trying to be very cautious and take this apart right (It comes apart in like 5 or 6 main pieces..) but the "easy access" hop up and inner barrel is not easy at all, in fact, quite the opposite Although, I am following the not so clear disassembly guide on YouTube..

Just hold the gun between your knee's and hold the the front sight and hulk it to the left. Lefty loosey - righty tighty, Thats how I took my barrel apart.

Not sure about the CA, but the realsword has set screws hidden under the rear sight.
Also -- The gun could be semi-locked. Also Also, you don't need to take the barrel off to get to the motor, you should be able to unscrew the bottom of the grip and peek in. |

RS SVD <3
What is semi locked? Sorry. The CA has a weird gearbox, it looks nothing like the RS one. It only goes into the grip like an inch. Whereas the RS one fills up the grip. |

Oh.. hrm...
Semi locked is when a gun doesn't cycle far enough to trip the cut-off lever properly so the gearbox locks up. When you pull the trigger do you hear ANY sound at all? (If it's semi-locked there would be a very slight clicking sound) |

Yes! Very slight clicking sound. No motor sounds though. What does one do when this happens?

Find your cut-off lever, hold it up and shoot, your gun should fire full auto, and that should be enough to re-set semi auto.
on a realsword you can attach the black wire to the battery, then run another piece of wire from the red to the battery red (bypassing the trigger to force it to shoot) Not sure if it'll work the same on the CA though. |
