Western Arms SigArms GSR SCW III won't pull the slide.

Hello Airsoft Doctor !

I have been trying to fix this bastard almost 2 days and just today, I gave up and head here to ask ASC Doc to help out.

I just got my WA SIGARMS GSR above a week ago, it fired fine and everything in work order since I want to study more about the SCW III so I decide to take out the gun completely apart, clean and lube where it should be. I put everything back together then start to disassemble all my 4 mags apart as well, clean and lube also.

The problem start here, All of 4 mags, there is only one mag that has issue and I can't see how is that happen. 3 other mags fire fine and finish all round without any issue. The last mag that I try is won't spill out enough gas to pull back the slide to re-cock the second rounds an it's barely have blow back but it's still fire well if I manual cock the gun each round like springer pistol.

Now the gun is like TM MK23 no blow back, it fired fine with the rest of the mags beside the one that I mention above. I try to switch the gas valve and almost everything from another mags to that even put a hi-flow valve in there but it's still perform the same. The slide won't pull and need to manual cock to fire each rounds.

So please anybody help me out and let me know what happen. Thanks in advance.

By the way, if my writing is not clear enough then let me know, I will get a video up. Thanks

Sounds like there is nothing
wrong with your gun, only
one of the mags isn't working
correctly...

Well, you have 3 working ones
to compare so you best take
them all apart and compare,
see if you broke something on
the one malfunctioning mag.

Also, are you testing these
mags with or without bbs
loaded?

PS: goes to show, if it aint
broke don't take it apart!

Thanks for the advice. I will compare them to see what wrong with it, it can't just stop working right that.

By the way, I test the mags with loaded BBs and the pistol need to pull slide in addition to fire a BBs, no blowback or nothing. It just shots like none blow back pistol except it need to rack the slide for every shot.

Ahh I see, test the mag
without bbs, dry fire it.

If the mag can fire fine
without bbs then there's
a feedlip problem. It's
probably damaged and
not lining up with the
nozzle correctly, making
for a weak seal on the
bb. SCW plastic lips are
commonly available.

Good luck.
