tsd vsr trigger sear assembly
so had an oops the other day. while cocking my borrowed vsr the bolt slipped from my hand and slammed forward. long story short as typing on my phone is suck i have a broken trigger sear assembly. snapped right in half.
now its not worth mending but i need to replace it. can anyone recommend a place that might sell a reinforced one as this stock one is flimsy. i found a few on google but dunno enough about them to tell crap from gold.... i think one was deep fire. anyways thanks in advance. |

PDI and laylax make trigger assemblies
But I recommend the V-trigger |

Do not use deep fire there VSR stuff is shittier than the original stuff thats in there i tried the sears myself and nothing but headaches unfortunalty replacement parts are expensive for this gun go with PDI and next time dont play with a bolt action unless you have 4-500$ to replace shit if it breaks. and i know it sucks now having to drop twice what the gun is worth to fix it but hey you touched it......lol

any idea how good this is?... and any idea who might sell a stock one?
yah I realized the possibilty of something breaking, it even took over my ak47's case just to protect it, I babied it to the field, babied it as I sighted it in, went to take the first shot of the day at a "enemy" player and bam, slippage out of my handage.... :'( Maybe I can talk to him and see if he wants to go halfers... hmmm..... scratch that the PDI ones are cheaper. Now where is a reasonable place to order one from. I see them on redwolf for roughly $35. Last edited by Dart; January 2nd, 2010 at 12:24.. |

If you want to buy a stock one than it will eventually break because the stock one aren't strong enough for 400fps or more.
If you want a better performance I would recommend changing the whole trigger system to a V trigger instead of the shears. Spend just a bit more and for better quality. *edits* It's sear

I agree, get a V-trigger. Theres no point in buying sears that may break again, buy something that you wont have to worry about.

its not the sear that broke, its the sear assembly. The actual part that it sets in. And its not my gun it just needs to be working when I give it back :P.
As for the spring in it I have no idea what it is. Never got a chance to crony it. For the guys that play out on the coast you should know the rifle... its painted up in digital cad pat. I will see if maybe he wants to go for a whole new trigger assembly... |

Well stock TSD vsr10 fps would be around 450fps~ and a real TM vsr10 is around 300fps~

Why were you using your phone in the middle of an airsoft game anyways? Try and go halfers with the v-trigger, It'll help your friends gun enormously anyways.

I've put well over 1000+ rnds through mine with no issue other then alot of grease and peanut butter inside the only part that i was gonna upgrade was the sears because EVERYBODY and their dog says TSD SUCKS and they will break within 100 rnds well guess what? nadda and the Upgrade Parts"Deep Fire" were shitter than the stock ones"TSD"......oh yeah and mine was shooting 526 FPS outa the box. I hate it when someone askes a question about sniper rifles and within 2 posts its always the same buy a TM as a base everything else is shit.no gun is feildable without 1000$ worth of upgrades because you wont hit anythig or outrange a AEG......BULLSHIT my TSD VSR 10 is just as acurate and will shoot as far and hard as any other sniper rifle out there shooting the same stock internals and better than some of the upgraded ones. Sure ya if you break a part the replacements are freakin expensive....go figure but to initially start off buy droppin 1000$ is retarded especially if there is nothing wrong with it to begin with..... end rant

Well, if you want to run a clone to a good sniper platform you need to upgrade it. I had a clone before and if you don't have a basic minimum of upgrade it in you won't be able to run as smooth as a Tm vsr10. If you can than you lucky. If you want more information of Vsr10 ask Amos. He is expert of it.
