So who will be the first to try and import this? Wonder if it will be prohibited?
I am thinking it will.

Retailers... who's going to bring this in??
It won't be any more prohibited than any other AS gun.

with enough $ and patience you should be able to get one if you want...

If you are asking this question to retailers, I don't think this is the good section to post this.

yeah I removed that bit..I wasn't soliciting making a purchase... I was kind of going for what retailers are thinking of bringing it in, and if they think it will be prohib?

could a mod move this to the AV retailer section or where it best applies?? ... sorry

Warning: The above is sarcasm

The FPG kit is a lower frame, therefore it is not ok to import.

This should technically be the receiver right?

I'd say frame rather than receiver. It's still a pistol, despite all the folding bits and stock. You can handle it like a pistol, and it's not limited to a semi Glock (so it's an "optional" SMG).

Really aside from looks, how is this any better then any other GBB smg or pistol?
That being said, it does look pretty damn cool =P

I wouldn't be so hasty to say it'll be prohib. The Thundermaul is not prohib, the FPG9 is not based on any real world gun, so it could just be getting the right CBSA staff to approve it.

Although, it is the 'serialized' part. I wonder what parts they actually use from the Glock for the conversion?

Wrong. It is based directly on the real world gun: The Magpul FMG9. Just because it is a prototype and not for sale, doesn't make it any less real.

And don't forget Order in Council aka our version of public board of safety in France back in it's revolution has banned guns purely in prototype. Take example the G-11 caseless rifle

fixed it for you... it's been renamed, and I read the real steel version will possibly release later this year.

The slide from a KSC/ KWA G17 or G18c, and mags for KSC/KWA G17 orG18c, short and long, are the conversion parts.
I already aquired a KSC G18c slide, and a short mag, and 2 long mags. Ready and waiting to go into the FPG9 kit.

Does the kit comes with its own trigger/firing group then?
