5mins on a car battery?

Who was the brain behind this? I never thought I'd see this ever.

Love it none the less though, what a brilliant idea.

About damn time

Finally (only 1 month after I promised I would) took the damn thing apart. Sorry about the low quality pictures, pretend the year is 1903 and be thankful for colour.

At first I couldn't see anything wrong with it internally.

I started taking the the box apart and (trust me on this even though the low quality pictures make it hard to see) only one part was damaged. trigger switch was 100% and everything

The biggest shocker was that the Piston looks brand new

The only part damaged was the gear that goes in the middle of the 3 gear set (never remember the name) half of it looked like it melted and flattened leaving only about 1mm of the teeth still intact.

heres the pics of it

Not nearly as extravagant as one would hope for death by car battery but now we know.

Awesome job.

I had a bunch of the Firepower F4D's. I think I still have a mechbox or two. May have to try this myself.

What would be interesting would be to run a "real" mechbox attached to a car battery to see what the results would be compared to the P90.

Anyone have an old donor mechbox they want to donate in the name of airsoft hilarity? lol

That's insane... Does this gun even shoot decent? I guess it passes for reliability...
And this thing's under $100, right?

Greenwolf paid $70 for it, IN COUNTRY through a paintball store in kingston. Though, performance wise.... a straw and mouth full of bbs is more accurate.
