I've seen posts of others who have to go to such lengths as to declare in their sign up that they are not bringing any tools with them so don't ask for help...then phuckers (either in jest but I suspect with some truth) offer to bring tools for the guy so he can work on their stuff.
No shit, that has been me, I'd take my tools to deal with my own guns if needed, but got really annoying people either coming up to me while I'm gearing up to have me look at their gun, or having Apoc send them over to me to fix something....... then bellow at me to get ready because I am the last to gear up and the team is ready to head out. Started just leaving my tool bag at home, and if one of my guns went down, I'd deal with what I had left (always brought two AEGs, a few pistols and my rifle, so isn't like I'd have to sit in the staging area all day.)

I completely agree with Tyson, Loan or Rent guns to those who need it. Game time is not Fix time, and gundocs dont goto and pay to be in games they arnt participating.

We like shooting too, we dont do gun work cause its that much more enjoyable. Poor Sha do spends more time working on other people's guns at games than he does actually on the field.

Same, I refuse to take my tools to the field for 2 reasons
1) I dont want to do gun work while im at a game.
2) Some fuckers stole a whackload of my tools last time it was on the field.

yah I know where you guys are coming from on that as well. I refuse to strip a mechbox at the field for any reason.... I lose enough parts at home on my desk let alone at a field.
I have however done an soldiering job on someones wiring in the passenger side of my truck *I love my 12v-120v converter lol*

How ever I was thinking more for if a none gun doc was at a game and needed to get something running again it might be useful.

How ever it seems most of the experience here is sourly against it lol.

Then they get handed a loaner. I know with the shooters I roll with, there are no fewer spares than guys in out area. (except the odd occasion every one is going light) Sure you can offer to pay for it but most times the gesture is enough. Though a coffee post game is always welcome.

I think the problem with this is, everyone that knows how to work on guns don't want to deal with shit like the noob tank on here. Just imagine a noob tank on your BB and it's everywhere you go. scary thought eh?

While in theory, I like the idea... my girlfriend would kill me if she sees me on my BB any more than I already am. LOL
