Again, I can't say enough good things about my CA M15. The reinforced mechbox is a big plus, as is the reinforced gears. If you need to change anything, it's the compression parts. They're quite easy and cheap to replace.

Hey thank you all for the input, I think I will go with the STAR M4. I have read the few reviews there are available and it sounds good to me.
Thanks again. |

Ya, I've heard the KWA M4 is very good especially the internals, top class.

The bolt catch is a really nice feature. Don't know how durable it is, though.. |

Well, I can't make up my mind between the STAR M4 or the CA M15A4.
I like that the CA is cheaper but the STAR is more accurate and I want something accurate but I guess I could just put a tightbore in the CA if I got one. I also don't think that STAR's are very common in Canada. Hmm.. |

If you're mechanically inclined, get a STAR. It could use some work out of the box to make it better. If you're not, get the CA. It could also use a little work, but considerably less. At the end of the day, the STAR has the potential to be fantastic, while CA has the potential to be great. My personal choice is for fantastic.
The STAR also has the functional bolt catch, I think it actually had it well before KA started making full AEGs.
